Golden Naan Bread


Vegan Golden Naan Bread is a radiant and flavorful twist on the traditional Indian flatbread, infused with turmeric to impart a warm golden hue. Ingredients:

  1. 1 3/4 cups self-raising flour ⁣
  2. 1 cup yoghurt ⁣
  3. 1 tbsp nigella seeds ⁣
  4. 1 tbsp cumin seeds ⁣
  5. 1 tsp salt ⁣
  6. 1 tsp turmeric ⁣


Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  • Mix well, until combined. Then, use your hands to form a large ball of dough. ⁣
  • On a floured surface, roll your dough into a naan shape. ⁣
  • Put some oil on a skillet/frying pan and keep at a medium-high heat⁣.
  • Place naan on pan and cook until you see air bubbles on the surface, and then flip over.
  • Once cooked, brush with some melted butter and sprinkle with coriander.
