Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup sago (aka tapioca pearls) soaked for 1 hour
- 1 canned evaporated oat milk
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring about 5 cups water to a boil add the soaked sago and cook until its soft and translucent.
- Drain water in strainer and wash it under running tap water.
- Transfer sago to a bowl, add evaporated oat milk and mix well.
Mango Layer:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh mango puree
- 1/4 cup Coconut milk
- 1 tsp agar agar powder
Instructions:
- Add mango puree and coconut milk to a saucepan, bring up to a boil.
- Whisk in agar powder. Continue to simmer for 1 min.
- Pour mongo into jars. Refrigerate until set.
Ingredients:
Passion Fruit Jelly
- 6 passion fruit pulp
- 1/2 cup water
- 15g sugar of choice
- 1 tsp agar agar powder
Instructions:
- Add water, sugar and passion fruit to a saucepan, bring up to a boil. Add agar powder, and cook until dissolved, whisking constantly, continue to simmer for 1 minute.
- Turn off the heat. Pour jelly into food container, refrigerate until set.
- To assemble, divide sago into jars, keep refrigerated.
- When it’s ready to serve, garnish with passion fruit jelly.
