Pasta with Pesto and Lemon Sauce


Pasta with Pesto and Lemon Sauce is a delightful fusion of vibrant flavors, combining aromatic basil pesto with the zesty brightness of lemon-infused sauce for a refreshing and savory pasta dish. Recipe:

For the Lemon Sauce

  • heated some olive oil in a small pot (enough to cover the bottom of the pot – ca. 4 or 5 tbsp.) over medium heat.
  • Added 3 cloves of garlic (minced), reduced the heat to low and cooked that for about 1 minute.
  • Added the juice and zest of half an organic lemon, some salt and pepper.


For the Pasta

  1. Cooked pasta (200g dry) and ca. 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Made sure that everything was mixed well.
  3. Added some vegan parmesan for extra creaminess and served it with the pesto pasta and some more lemon juice and pepper on top.
  4. The lemon sauce was enough for 2 portions.
